no oli see ka eriline "rahvakunst" tänases Pealtnägija.
Now THAT was a "folk art" in Pealtnägija today.
värvida üle muinsusväärtusi! aga samas.... kuidas nad meie ajani säilisid? ja kas nad peavad üldse säilima? asjad ise?
To cover heritage with contemporary chemical paint. but then... each time has new measures and new equipment. do the things have to be preserved as they are?
I still think preserving skills and vitality of culture is more important than preserving stuff.
sest me ju ei tea pikas plaanis, kas tulevikuühiskond muuseume üldse vajab. muuseume, asju täis.
we don´t know for sure the society of the future even needs museums.... who are dependent on stuff rather than skills.
muuseum muutub pigem ühiskonna suhtekorraldajaks, kus olulised on tegevused ja kommunikatsioon, mitte aga niivõrd kogu.
museum is becoming a PR establishment for the society where the thing that matters most is activities and communication and not collection.
okei in that TV show Pealtnägija there was a real person who didn´t ask before she acted. and somewhat damaged a heritage item.
but then what? we let it wear off, until it is the last possible moment , let all the colours vanish completely? where is the identity of heritage preserved then? the item has lost it´s very being....
but what can our elite society do to prevent people from being and living their lives as they consider right? Really now, people CAN´t live in an environment where EVERYTHING is a museum.
