Näituse avamine Kunstihoone Galeriis. Exhibition opening.

See on ikka üks kreisi lugu küll, 6.
It appears that at about the same time (september of last year) as I suggested the idea of embroidering portraits of famous estonians in craft classes, the graphic Eve Kask started a course in the Estonian Academy of Arts with the exact same name as ours - Eesti Nägu (Face of Estonia). It was yesterday that she saw our portraits, had them taken down and hung up in this gallery on Freedom Square, Tallinn. It is really crazy to have works from ordinary, regular crafts classes hanging in such a bid central place, with ex-ministers-of culture, leading art critics and photographers hanging around looking at them (among other works from the glass and graphics departments of EAoA. ) So, here are some photos from the opening today at 17. ALL that they brought along from the school were also exhibited, they didn´t just select what they thought were better.

Ma näen väsind välja sest mul tuleb kolmas tarkusehammas.
I look tired and in pain, you say? Yeah, cause my third wisdom tooth decided to show itself.

Et ta mul nüüd seljaga oli!!! Signe Kivi ja Mari Viik
The cursed luck ! She never faced my camera (but perhaps the portraits were too interesting? :-)) It is ex-minister of culture of Estonia Signe Kivi and our wood crafts teacher Mari Viik.
