Kumb on reaalsem reaalsus? Which film reality is more real?

Sky Crawlers. Jaapani animafilm igavesti noortest lenduritest.
A japanese animation about forever--young pilots.
Lennuk sõidab üle pea ja maandub, maapind tuleb järjest lähemale ja vaatajal käib pea ringi, ning tekib see "ameerika mägede tunne"...teate küll.
The plane landing, going over your head, the track coming closer, and you feel like you are on a rollercoaster.
How odd. Why make motion pictures at all? All the preparation, the sets, the actors, the equipment, the post-production... in a sense there is no need. Perhaps.
Maybe if all the animations were as real as this one.
How odd. How odd, that films made basically behind a desk, at a computer, without going outside at all, can have such a realistic sense. It may be the "fault" of all those mystical and "tangible" background sounds. Going up a staircase. Folding a newspaper. Crack! Breaking a match. Not so much the voices of the characters, but the sounds as such.
Tegelikult just häälte kaudu tuleb ka animafilmidesse väga palju reaalsust.
Through these voices, the animated films contain a dose of reality. The part of the film, that is not just an image created by a hand who draws the picture. You start to think who is making those sounds, what they are thinking, how are they trying to influence us, here, on this side of the screen. Who is behind that picture? It feels like a message from outer space...
Even if all movies in the future would be made in or even by computers, there is no way in hell those sounds could be generated by machines. The reality behind the image will stay real, and that is what makes animation such an exiting art form.
Not just the sounds, ut also the limitless possibilities to SHOW something to us - there are no impossible things, animation can show us anything and everything. And even if the motion pictures show us something equal, they probably do it with the help of animation techniques. They just cant deal without it these days. They wouldnt look real enough without the help of animation.
Animatsioon on reaalsuse kaadritagune hääl.
Animation is in our lives today...like the voice behind the screen. it hs become a part of everything and we hardly notice it, sometimes. But if you remove it, the reality feels broken. Like a news program without sound.
